Depending on your streaming settings, it could take 1GB for one hour of streaming a movie or TV show in standard definition. You could lower the setting and get up to 4 hours per GB of data. Netflix automatically selects the best video quality based on your internet connection. You can also manually adjust the video quality to a lower tier in the โAccountโ section on Netflixโs website. Opting for SD rather than HD or UHD can significantly reduce your data usage.

In order to ensure proper functionality, you should purchase and install the eSIM before you board your cruise ship.

The packages are valid for 30 days after activation. When youโve used up 80% of your data, weโll let you know โ so you wonโt get stuck without any data. Youโll get another notification once your data has finally run out.

You should switch off data roaming for your primary SIM card to avoid roaming charges.
