On embarkation day, the first day of a cruise, you should go for comfort and casual wear. There will be lots of walking and standing, navigating the port and exploring the ship, so comfortable shoes and clothing are essential.
Bring a carry-on bag for things like swimsuits, medications, and important documents. Your luggage might not be available immediately after boarding, so pack a change of clothes and a jacket for dinner.
Plan your clothes according to your activities on the first day. Shorts and tees for strolling around the deck, bathing suits for the pool, gym clothes for the fitness fanatics, light jacket or sweater if it cools off, etc.

You should install the eSIM and buy the package before you cruise. The package is valid for 30 days after activation – so some days upfront would be perfect. You can top up the packages every time. (For toping it up you need connectivity – so do it on land or as long as you have connectivity with use)
