Mendoza is a city located in Argentina’s Cuyo region. It is the heart of Argentina’s wine country, famed for Malbecs and other red wines.
It has a temperate, arid and continental climate. Summers are hot and humid with an average high temperature of 32ºC in January (summer). Winters are cool and dry with an average high temperature of 14.7ºC in July (winter).
Mendoza has wide, leafy streets lined with modern and art deco buildings, and smaller plazas surrounding Plaza Independencia.
