The Phi Phi islands are located at the Thailand’s Andaman Coast and is a six-island archipelago, with Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh serving as the main islands.
Most tourists visit the bigger and inhabited Phi Phi Don. The smaller and deserted Phi Phi Leh features gorgeous bays and beaches, including Maya Bay, which was made famous by the movie “The Beach”, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
The islands are either a 45-minute speedboat ride or a 90-minute ferry journey from either Phuket or Krabi.
The best time to visit Koh Phi Phi is between of November and April when the weather is more temperate and the rains are less frequent.
