Managed by the Port Authority of Barcelona, the Port of Barcelona is a major European port with commercial, industrial, and passenger (cruise) facilities. The port is a very short drive to the city centre. It is possible to walk there but it is not recommended.
Barcelona Port Location
The Port of Barcelona has seven cruise terminals spread across three main areas. Terminals A, B, C, and D are located at the World Trade Center near Las Ramblas (Moll Adossat). Terminals E, F, and G are situated further south along Moll Adossat. The North and South Terminals are located directly along the waterfront at Port Vell.
From the World Trade Center and Port Vell, passengers can reach the city center on foot in about 15–20 minutes. From the terminals at Moll Adossat, the official Cruise Bus (T3 Port Bus) operates to the Columbus Monument for €4.50 per trip. Taxis are available at all terminals, with fares to the city center costing approximately €15–20. Most cruise lines also offer paid shuttle services to Plaça de Catalunya.

Sagrada Familia
Sagrada Familia, an imposing basilica designed by Antoni Gaudí, has been under construction since 1882. It is scheduled for completion in 2026, which will coincide with the 100th anniversary of Antoni Gaudí’s death. It is the tallest church in the world, measuring 162.91 metres tall.
Gaudi Buildings
Gaudi buildings can be found throughout the whole city. There are seven properties from Gaudi: Parque Güell; Palacio Güell; Casa Milà; Casa Vicens; Gaudí’s work on the Nativity façade and Crypt of La Sagrada Familia; Casa Batlló; Crypt in Colonia Güell.
Gothic Quarter
The Gothic Quarter, or Barri Gòtic, has narrow medieval streets filled with trendy bars, clubs and Catalan restaurants. Also known as the old town, it is home to museums and historical churches.
Camp Nou – FC Barcelona Stadium
Camp Nou is home to soccer team FC Barcelona, and it is one of the biggest stadiums in Europe. Soccer fans should definitely book a guided tour and visit the museum and shop.
La Rambla
Probably the most known and visited promenade in Barcelona is La Rambla, a street with vendors, restaurants, bars, markets, and shops. It’s always busy on La Rambla, and a great place to eat, drink, and people watch.
Tibidabo Amusement Park
Tibidabo is not just a regular amusement park, it sits on top of Tibidabo mountain and can be reached by tramway. The park was created in 1901 and to this day you can enjoy rides, events & shows, as well as cafés and restaurants. The views from up there are spectacular!
Barcelona Beach
Barcelona sits on the Mediterranean Sea and boasts beautiful beaches. The city beach, called Barceloneta, stretches from the port area to the Olympic Village, offering numerous beach bars and restaurants. It’s a relaxing place to take a break from the city and enjoy the sea.
Montjuïc
Montjuïc is another popular destination with amazing views of Barcelona and the ocean. You can reach the top by cable car, which leaves from the port. The ride alone offers magnificent views from the area. On top, you can visit the Olympic Ring, the Magic Fountain, and stroll through the Botanical Garden.
